Lithuania is the largest of the three Baltic countries with a population of nearly 4 million. Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, is situated in the south-east, about 150 miles from the Baltic Sea.  The city was founded in the fourteenth century and includes many architectural masterpieces of the Old Town, squares, narrow streets, medieval courtyards and parks that have witnessed many historical events. The Old Campus is located in the old part of Vilnius, directly across the street from the President of Lithuania’s house.
