Humphreys’ Study Abroad Scholarship

Description

The Donald and Cathey Humphreys Study Abroad Endowed Scholarship was established to offer students with demonstrated need the opportunity to fund long-term study abroad experiences.  The scholarship is open to OSU undergraduate and graduate students participating in credit bearing programs and activities outside the U.S.

Eligibility

  • In addition to the online scholarship application, students must have also started a separate program application for their intended study abroad program in the same online system by the scholarship deadline. Failure to have both applications in the system by the deadline will result in no further consideration for the award.* 
  • To receive a scholarship, the study abroad program must be academic credit bearing.
  • Priority is given to undergraduate or graduate students with demonstrated financial need
  • Study period must be a minimum of eight (8) weeks in length
  • Award amounts will vary depending on student need and program choice

Provost’s Study Abroad Scholarship

Description

The Oklahoma State University Provost’s Study Abroad Scholarship was established to offer an incentive for OSU students to study abroad.  The scholarship provides one-time funding for degree-seeking OSU students participating in credit bearing programs and activities outside the U.S.

Eligibility

  • In addition to the online scholarship application, students must have also started a separate program application for their intended study abroad program in the same online system by the scholarship deadline. Failure to have both applications in the system by the deadline will result in no further consideration for the award.* 
  • Priority is given to undergraduate or graduate students with demonstrated financial need
  • Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. 
  • Award amounts will vary depending on student need within the following ranges:
  • Winter Intersession, Spring Break , Summer Programs                 $  350 -   $750
  • Spring Semester, Fall Semester                                                     $  750 - $1000
  • Full Year                                                                                          $1000 - $2000
