Sun Yat-Sen consists of 40 affiliated institutions, including satellite campuses and research centers and recorded over 50,000 students as of 2014. Before going abroad, you will need to investigate the courses available at potential host institutions. OSU students studying abroad must take at least the equivalent of 12 OSU credit hours during their exchange semester. Please be sure to read the course descriptions provided by the host institution and compare them to your coursework at OSU.
Sun Yat-Sen South Campus offers a wide variety of courses taught in English, with many courses in business, hotel and restaurant administration, and political science. Students can also learn Cantonese. Click here for a list of sample courses taught in previous academic years.
Students participating in a reciprocal exchange program must have completed at least 45 credit hours and have a cumulative 3.0 GPA or above at the time they intend to participate.

Students studying for 90 days or more are required to obtain a student visa or residency permit. Please refer to the website of the embassy or consulate to obtain visa information. You are encouraged to work with Ms. Vivian Wang at Oklahoma State University for visa assistance.
