Explore Japan! The program begins in Tokyo, which is considered one of the most vibrant and fun cities in the world. In Tokyo, we will visit cutting edge businesses, experience modern Japanese culture, and enjoy some of the world’s premier art, food, and technology. Students will also have plenty of opportunities to experience the bright lights, unique atmosphere, and bustling culture of Tokyo at night. Then, we will take a bullet train to Kyoto, in the Kensai region, to experience one of the world’s most exciting and beautiful locations. Program activities include the Tokyo Stock Exchange, saki making, and a sumo tournament, plus plenty of free time to explore Kyoto and Tokyo.

1-3 Pre-Trip meetings will be required. TBD at a later date.
 
PROGRAM FEE:
$2,250 + Airfare (Estimated $1300) 


PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
Deposit: $200- To be charged upon application acceptance (non-refundable) 
Fees: $1,003.75- To be charged the week of December 15th, 2017
(Student is responsible for this amount after December 15th, 2017 drop date)
Tuition: $1,046.25- To be charged the week of January16, 2018

(Student is responsible for this amount after December 15th, 2017 drop date) 

*Payment Schedule-Charges will hit your Bursar on the above dates, however, if you do not drop by December 15, 2017 you will be responsible for the full cost of the program.
The charges are split up to help students make payments.


The student is responsible for the full amount of $2,250 beginning December 15, 2017.

This also applies to students who apply and are accepted after December 15, 2017. 

 
AIRFARE:
Students are responsible for booking and paying for their own airfare. As soon as the faculty's flight is booked all accepted students will receive the faculty and/or staff's flight information. It is suggested that you do not book your flight until you receive this information so you are able to arrive with or around the same time as the faculty and staff for transportation reasons. If you choose to arrive before the program start date or leave after the program end date you will be on your own for transportation to and from the airport as well as for additional accommodation arrangements and costs.
