Please note, Housing and some food are included in the program fee. You will be responsible for purchasing your food for most meals.
There will be times you have free time and you will want to budget funds for local transportation during this period. A rail card is provided in the cost of the program; however, if you want to take a taxi or other form of transportation during your free time, you will need to pay separately for this expense.
Airfare is an estimate. There are many airfares that are cheaper than the $1200 estimated. You should do your research. CEAT is not responsible for securing or paying for your flights, this is up to each individual participating in the program.
There is no visa requirement for Americans to enter Japan for a short period of time. If you are an international student, you will need to do your research as to whether you need to secure a visa to enter Japan or not. Please note that this may take some time to secure.
