Program Description:

March 15-20, 2020
Experience sports business in sunny Phoenix, Arizona! Phoenix is home to NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL franchises and also hosts NASCAR and PGA EVENTS. This course examines the effect of professional sports on the greater Phoenix community and analyzes the impact of each team or league. Instruction will occur through lecture and visits to sports institutions. You will also experience behind-the scenes tours and conduct discussions with various sports professionals.

The program fee includes tuition for three credit hours, lodging in Phoenix as well as tickets to various sporting events, daily breakfast, and transportation in Phoenix. It is your responsibility to purchase your own ticket. Airfare is estimated at $750. Program fee will be charged to your Bursar account as shown on the payment schedule.

Fees: $823.20 - To be charged the week of December 15, 2019
(Student is responsible for this amount after December 15, 2019 drop date)
Tuition: $976.80- To be charged the week of January 15, 2020
(Student is responsible for this amount after December 15, 2019 drop date) 

*Payment Schedule-Charges will hit your Bursar on the above dates; however, if you do not drop by December 15, 2019 you will be responsible for the full cost of the program. The charges are split up to help students make payments.

The student is responsible for the full amount of $2,000 beginning December 15, 2019.

This also applies to students who apply and are accepted after December 15, 2019. 
Students are responsible for booking and paying for their own airfare. As soon as the faculty's flight is booked all accepted students will receive the faculty and/or staff's flight information. It is suggested that you do not book your flight until you receive this information so you are able to arrive with or around the same time as the faculty and staff for transportation reasons. If you choose to arrive before the program start date or leave after the program end date you will be on your own for transportation to and from the airport as well as for additional accommodation arrangements and costs.
