Program Description:

EHA Yellowstone Science 2020COE Julie

SMED 4813* (undergraduate) 3 credit hours
* Natural Sciences ("N") credit available. Honors credit also available.

CIED 5730 (graduate) 3 credit hours

Enjoy the field trip of a lifetime as you learn about the science associated with the Greater Yellowstone Area (GYA). Guided tours through the scenic areas of the GYA will provide students with authentic classroom applications of biology, chemistry, earth science and physics to standards based classroom curricula. This 3-credit hour course can be applied to an undergraduate or graduate degree program, or continuing education. Join us as we explore the science of Yellowstone National Park, WY.
Students must be physically capable of hiking 5-12 miles a day in elevated altitudes.

Mandatory class meetings in advance of the trip. Dates: TBD.
