Program Description:
Travel with Dr. Reed Holyoak (DVM) to Guangzhou, China, to take a course on Animal Acupuncture offered through the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. Traditional Chinese Medicine has been used for thousands of years to treat both humans and animals alike. Students will have the option to take course offerings in either Canine Acupuncture or Equine Acupuncture. Graduates of the program who have completed all requirements will obtain their Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (CVA) certification.

Location
Coursework will be completed in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou from May 18 through May 21. Students will also take part in the pre-class tour that will visit places in or near Beijing such as the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Hongluo Temple, and the Great Wall.

Students participating in The Chi Institute of China program must be students enrolled in the College of Veterinary Medicine at Oklahoma State University

Housing
Students participating in the program will stay in a 3-star hotels for the duration of their time in China

Visa Information
US citizens wishing to study or travel in the People's Republic are required to apply for a visa. Please contact your program provider for information on which specific visa is required.
