National Student Exchange - Oklahoma State University 

Congratulations on taking the first step toward studying on the National Student Exchange! Please read the instructions below to better understand the application and selection procedure. 

Your Application should include:

• Online Application at https://nse.org
• Official transcript of all work completed after high school
• $300 non-refundable application fee (will not be charged until completing NSE & OSU applications, meeting with OSU NSE Coordinator, and ready for placement to a host university)

Application deadlines:

February 15 is the final date for priority consideration, for the following fall, academic year, or spring semesters. Notification of priority placement will be made after the placement conference in early to mid-March. Applications received after the February priority deadline will be processed on a rolling basis based on host university deadlines and availability. 

Application: 

Applications for the following Summer, Fall, Academic Year, or Spring,  should first be submitted electronically at https://nse.org.  Once that step is completed, an additional application will be created in this portal.  This is why an 'Apply Now' button does not appear on this page.

 

Placement Acceptance:

If you are chosen for the National Student Exchange program, your name will be submitted to one or more of your designated universities at the NSE Placement Conference held in early to mid-March or on a rolling basis for applications received after the priority placement process and conference.

Host Application:

If you are accepted at one of your chosen universities, you will be asked to complete that institution’s application.  Final acceptance rests with your host university.

Notes:

Applications can be and are regularly accepted after February 15.  However, many institutions are very competitive and placement at these institutions require applications be submitted on or before that deadline. Please get with our office to discuss.
